The Technical Services Section is committed to supporting the mission and goals of the Medical Library Association.

The Section's programs are directed to serving its members by:

• providing opportunities for education, recognition, and the exchange of information;

• supporting the development and maintenance of information systems and resources;

• supporting research in technical services; and providing leadership in technical services issues.
